Terms & cancellation
A starting point, not legal advice. Adapt these terms to your own classes before relying on them.
Classes and payment
Classes last 45 minutes and cost the prices published on the prices page, always visible, never "on application". A drop-in class is £12, paid when you book. The 6-class pass is £60, valid for eight weeks from your first class, and usable on any class on the timetable. Private group bookings are quoted individually, from £150, with the price agreed in writing before anything is confirmed.
Cancellation and moving a booking
Life happens, and the policy tries to be fair in both directions:
- Can't make a class you've booked? Move your booking to any other class with a quick message, free of charge, however late the notice. Unused bookings don't just vanish into the night.
- If I cancel a class, which is rare, everyone booked is told as early as possible and offered a free transfer or a full refund, your choice.
- Class passes: if injury, illness or a proper life event gets in the way of the eight weeks, talk to me and we'll pause or extend it. The pass is meant to help you dance, not to catch you out.
- Private bookings: the deposit arrangement and cancellation terms are agreed in writing when you book, and they're written to be reasonable.
Staying safe in class
Please tell me before class about injuries, pregnancy or any health condition that might matter, and see a GP first if you have a heart condition or get chest pain or serious dizziness during exercise. In class, work at your own pace, take the low-impact options freely, and stop for water whenever you need to. I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Exercise to Music and a current Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, and I carry full public liability and professional insurance for every class and private booking.
The spirit of the room
Every body is welcome in this class, and the room stays kind. Anyone making other people feel small about their body, ability or dancing will be asked to stop, and if needed, to leave. It has almost never come up. Let's keep it that way.
